Kelik 1:72 F-4B Phantom is a printed set that brings the cockpit of the carrier fighter to life without a brush.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Phantom has densely packed panels in both stations, and in the small scale painting them by hand is more of a lottery. A set of printed decals with raised relief supplies the color and the depth at once, and the work shrinks to cutting out and transferring the motif.
The McDonnell F-4B was the first mass-produced rendition of the Phantom II for the US Navy and the Marine Corps. A pair of J79 engines, a powerful radar and missile armament made it a feared opponent, even though it originally lacked an internal gun. It flew from the decks of aircraft carriers over Vietnam, where it put in thousands of combat sorties, and its airframe served as the basis for further versions. Over six hundred examples of this rendition were built and some of them later went through a deep modernization.
Cut close to the edge of the print, so that no visible rim is left once dry. Use lukewarm water and count the soaking in seconds. Before you close the cockpit with the clear canopy, check that no bubble has stayed under the film.
The contents are the interior fittings, not a plastic model of the fighter.
