Eduard F4U-1 Corsair 1:72 is an etched (photo-etched) detail set for adding accuracy to a plastic model of the fighter Vought F4U-1 Corsair. It is not an aircraft kit, but a metal accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched (etched) set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is used to add accuracy to a plastic model of the carrier-based fighter Vought F4U-1 Corsair in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but a set of fine metal parts that replace and add details that are difficult to achieve in injection-molded plastic at this scale. It typically adds cockpit features and other small details that make the model more convincing.
The Vought F4U-1 Corsair was an American carrier-based and land-based fighter of the Second World War, easily recognized by its bent gull wing and the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engine. It served mainly in the Pacific with the Navy and Marine Corps and was one of the best-performing fighters of its time.
The parts are carefully separated from the fret, bent against a sharp edge and glued with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Pre-printed, color, self-adhesive elements are applied without painting; the other parts are filled and sprayed together with the model. Working with such small parts requires tweezers, a steady hand and experience.
This is an accessory etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
