Quinta Studio F4U-1 Corsair Bird cage 1:72 - a color 3D interior

This set is NOT an aircraft kit but an interior detail accessory. It contains 3D-printed and fully pre-colored cockpit features on decal paper for the early F4U-1 variant with the so-called birdcage canopy. It replaces the flat cockpit parts and gives the space depth and color with no painting.

How the set works

• It combines the easy application of a decal with genuine 3D relief.
• It typically contains the instrument panel, the side walls and cockpit detail.
• In 1:72 scale it lifts an otherwise tiny cockpit markedly.

Application tips

• Cut the parts out, dip them in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide them off the backing paper onto a clean surface coated with gloss, on which they hold.
• Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer at all, as they would attack the printed resin.
• Work with tweezers under good lighting.
