Precisely turned metal Browning .50 caliber machine gun barrels in the late build with covered (shrouded) barrels, for models of the American carrier-based Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat fighter in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER. This is not a model of the aircraft but a metal replacement for the armament in the wing.
The metal barrels and shrouds are thinner, more accurate and tougher than plastic moldings with their often filled-in muzzles. The leading edges of the Hellcat's wing thus gain realistic armament that will survive ordinary handling and painting.
