A set of masks for the Fokker D.VII (OAW) Weekend in 1:72 scale from the Eduard brand — precisely cut self-adhesive masks for a clean spray of the wheels and other surfaces of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks of kabuki paper from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, intended for building a model of the German fighter biplane Fokker D.VII (of OAW manufacture) in 1:72 scale. The masks make it possible to spray the circular surfaces of the wheels and further elements cleanly and quickly, where painting by hand would be laborious and inaccurate. It is an accessory prepared for the corresponding model in the Weekend version.
The Fokker D.VII was among the best fighter aircraft of the end of the First World War. The versions built under license at the OAW company (Ostdeutsche Albatros Werke) differed slightly in details from the machines of the parent production. The aircraft became renowned for excellent handling even at high altitudes.
Stick the masks onto a clean, degreased surface and press the edges down carefully with a toothpick. Spray thin layers of paint, so that no ridges arise at the edges. Lift the mask off while the paint is still freshly tacky.
This is a separate set of masks. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
