A figure item from the range of Dynamo-Models for 1:72 scale. The name gives the subject of French tankmen and the year 1940, that is the period of the French campaign. It is not a vehicle kit but a figure accessory with which a diorama or a separately displayed vehicle model is populated.
The French armored forces of 1940 had a look of their own that is easily recognized: the characteristic tank type helmet, the leather jacket and the overalls, which differed clearly from German and British practice. That is exactly why French tankmen are harder to find in the modeling range than German crews, and only figures aimed squarely at it suit the vehicles of that campaign.
