Eduard 1:72 Fw 190A masks is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for masking the cockpit glazing and wheels of a model of the German fighter. It is not a model but an accessory that makes painting easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks in fine Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit or a finished model but an accessory that makes masking for spraying easier and more accurate.
The masks are stuck onto the frames of the canopy and onto the wheel rims, so that after spraying the glass stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape conforms well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The canopy frames therefore come out sharp and straight without cutting tape by hand.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A was a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War with a BMW 801 radial engine. The A series was among the most widely built versions and became known for its rugged structure, heavy armament and good performance at low and medium altitudes. It was nicknamed the Würger, meaning shrike.
The set contains only the cut-out masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
