A resin accessory set in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Black Dog. It is an aftermarket set of stowage and field gear for a model of the captured Soviet KV-2 heavy tank in German service, not a kit of the vehicle. It usually covers rolled tarpaulins, crates, jerrycans, tools and personal crew equipment to be placed around the hull and the turret.
The accessories give the massive tank a realistic, lived-in look and help set it in a particular scene. How you arrange the stowage is your own choice, and it can underline the improvised character of captured equipment.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the stowage on its own and then tie it together with filters, washes and pigments; pick out the metal edges with drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
