A set of self-adhesive masks from the Eduard company intended for models of the Grumman F-14A Tomcat carrier-based fighter in 1:72 scale. The masks follow the shape of the canopy glazing frames exactly and usually also include circular masks for the wheel hubs, which makes spraying the tires easier. Thanks to them there is no need to cut strips of adhesive tape laboriously, and you get crisp, straight edges of paint.

The real subject

The Grumman F-14A Tomcat is a two-seat supersonic carrier-based fighter of the US Navy with a variable-geometry wing. It became famous in the role of an interceptor armed with long-range guided missiles and for the characteristic silhouette of its twin vertical tails.

Use

• Place the masks on the canopy frames and press the edges down firmly.
• Spray the interior color of the frames first and then the exterior camouflage.
• Use the circular masks when painting the hubs and the tires.
• Remove the masks carefully once the paint is dry.

This is an accessory for a plastic model, not the kit itself. The paints and the model are not included in the package.
