A set of water-slide decals in 1:72 scale from Caracal Models. It offers markings for eleven OV-1 Mohawk machines in various forms and holds complete technical stencils, national insignia and well-executed walkway markings. It makes it possible to build any of the aircraft offered.
The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk served the US Army for more than three decades, above all as an armed reconnaissance aircraft. It was used among other places in Vietnam and in Operation Desert Storm and flew with a number of Army aviation and National Guard units.
Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat to prevent silvering. After dipping in water, slide the decal into place, fine-tune the position and draw off the excess water. Adhesion to shapes is improved by a decal softener; finally unify the surface with a clear coat.
