1:72 Handley Page HP.80 Victor (wet decals)

Handley Page Victor 1:72 — Print Scale waterslide decals

The Handley Page Victor set holds high-quality waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from Print Scale. This is not a kit; these are the decals alone, for marking and finishing your Victor model.

The real subject

The Handley Page Victor was a British four-engine strategic bomber with a characteristic crescent wing, one of the three V-bombers of the Cold War. It originally served as a carrier of nuclear weapons and later a number of machines were converted into aerial tankers for in-flight refueling. It carried Royal Air Force markings.

How to use the waterslide decals

• Coat the area under the decal with a gloss varnish to limit silvering.
• Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water and slide it onto the model.
• Use a decal softener so that it settles onto the panel lines.
• Once dry, unify the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.

Who the set is for

• Modelers of British postwar aircraft in 1:72.
• Modelers interested in the markings of strategic bombers and tankers.
• Those looking for an alternative to the kit decals.

The package holds decals only. The airplane model, paints and glue are not included.
