This is a set of self-adhesive painting masks of fine yellow kabuki tape, die-cut exactly to the shape of the cockpit frames and the other transparent parts of a model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.II fighter in the A, B and C versions in 1:72 scale. The one-sided fit form means masks only for the outer (visible) side of the glazing. Circular masks for the wheel discs tend to be included as well. It is not a model and not decals but an aid that makes painting easier. The set is cut for the parts of the Arma Hobby kit; on a model from another maker the shapes need not match.

Use

• Lift the masks carefully off their backing (ideally with pointed tweezers) and lay them on the relevant frames of the glazing according to the enclosed diagram.
• Press the edges down firmly so that paint does not run under the tape, and spray the cockpit frame with the interior color and with the outer camouflage finish.
• You will use the circular masks to cover the tires while spraying the wheel rims.
• Once the paint has dried, lift the masks off and you will have sharp, clean transitions with no touching up by hand with a brush.
