This is a resin detail set that replaces the control surfaces on a plastic kit of the Hawker Typhoon Mk. IB fighter and ground-attack aircraft. The set contains faithfully cast ailerons, elevator and rudder with the texture of the covering finely suggested, and they can be fitted in a deflected position to bring a model to life. The parts sharpen an area that injection-molded plastic usually simplifies.
The Hawker Typhoon is a British single-engine aircraft of the Second World War powered by the strong Napier Sabre engine. The IB version made its mark above all in the role of a fighter-bomber attacking ground targets, carrying bombs or unguided rockets. It was marked by robust construction and a massive fuselage.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residues and cut off the casting blocks. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue, and sand with respiratory protection. Separate the original plastic surfaces carefully and fit the new ones at a natural angle of deflection; paint in the transitions and blend them with the surroundings.
