He 111 1:72 — a set of self-adhesive Eduard painting masks made of yellow kabuki paper for cleanly unmasking the extensively glazed canopy and wheels of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely cut set of self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a plastic model of the Heinkel He 111 bomber in 1:72 scale. The masks of fine Japanese kabuki paper hold well, follow curved surfaces and leave no adhesive behind when lifted. They cover the extensively glazed nose and the clear parts, so that after spraying only the frames remain sharply defined. The set usually contains masks for the wheels as well, for painting the tire and the hub separately.
The Heinkel He 111 was a German twin-engine medium bomber and one of the main types of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. The recognition feature of the later versions was the fully glazed asymmetric nose of the so-called greenhouse type, which replaced the earlier stepped nose. The aircraft served as a bomber and in other roles throughout the war.
Lift a mask off the sheet with a sharp blade or with tweezers, lay it on the part and press it down all the way around. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that it does not run under the edge. Remove the masks while the paint is still fresh. Mask the extensively glazed nose patiently, panel by panel.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
