Eduard 1:72 He 111H-6 masks is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for masking the glazing and wheels of a model of the German He 111 bomber. It is not a model but an accessory that makes painting easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks in fine Japanese kabuki tape for 1:72 scale. It is not a kit or a model but an accessory for the modeler that makes masking the glazing and the wheels for spraying far easier and more accurate.
You stick the masks onto the frames of the cockpit glazing and the other glazed areas and onto the wheel rims. After spraying, the glass then stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape conforms well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The result is sharp, straight frame lines without cutting tape by hand.
The Heinkel He 111 was a German twin-engine medium bomber used from the beginning of the Second World War. The H-6 version was among the most widely built and was marked by an extensively glazed nose and glazed cockpit, which makes masking a slow job when painting. The aircraft served as a bomber and as a torpedo carrier.
The set contains only the cut-out masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
