Set of figures of Hungarian soldiers from the fighting on the Eastern Front in 1:72 scale, intended for dioramas and cabinets with a Second World War theme.
Responsibility details are not available.
From 1941 Hungary took part in the fighting on the Eastern Front alongside Germany, and its units operated there until the close of the war. Beside the ever-present German and Soviet soldiers this is a theme that appears only rarely in modeling cabinets, although it offers a different cut of uniform as well as a different coloring of equipment.
The set brings figures of Hungarian soldiers in 1:72 scale. In size they match ordinary kits of vehicles and aircraft in the same scale, so you can combine them in one scene. The exact composition of the set, the number of figures and their poses are stated on the box by the manufacturer; go through them before the build, so that you know how to lay the scene out.
Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder back carefully. Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry out perfectly, otherwise the paint will not hold. It works well to proceed from the primer through the large areas of uniform and equipment to the faces and the small details. A darker unifying coat will bring out the folds of the cloth, while a fine dry brush draws out the edges, the buckles and the straps. A figure in this scale is only a few millimeters tall, so reach for a thin brush and apply the paint in several thin coats.
It will be appreciated by modelers who build Eastern Front dioramas and want to populate them with armies other than the German and the Soviet, and by collectors of figures in a small scale.
Paints, glue and a base for the diorama are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
