Figures of Hungarian soldiers from the Eastern Front in 1:72 scale, an accessory for dioramas, cabinets and scenes from the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hungarian army fought on the Eastern Front alongside Germany from 1941 and stayed there practically to the end of the war. For a modeler it is a rewarding theme precisely because it differs from the usual German and Soviet soldiers in uniform as well as equipment, and thanks to them a scene stops looking like all the others.
This is a set of figures in 1:72 scale, that is at the size most small dioramas with vehicles and aircraft are built in. How many figures are in the set and what poses they stand in is stated on the box by the manufacturer; plan the layout of the scene and what will be in the foreground accordingly in advance.
Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the traces of production back with fine sandpaper. Then wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry out properly. Paint from the top down and from the large areas to the small details, so that you do not smear the finished detail. Faces suit a lighter tone than the areas of uniform, because the eye reads a small area as darker than it really is. Finally a darker unifying coat into the folds and a light accenting of the edges will help. Work under good light and preferably with a magnifier.
The set belongs in the hands of modelers who build Eastern Front scenes and want to populate them with less usual soldiers, and of collectors of small figures.
Paints, glue and a base for the diorama are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
