A set of photo-etched metal parts for filling out the model of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in 1:72 scale. The range of the set and the kit it suits are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British single-engine fighter with a Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. It appeared while the move from biplanes to modern monoplanes was still under way, so it kept the older construction with a tube frame fuselage covered in fabric, while the thick wing carried an armament of eight machine guns. It was machines of this version that were the most numerous in the British defense in 1940, and their share of the kills was higher than that of their then more modern counterpart.
Photo-etched metal parts meant to fill out the plastic kit of this aircraft. The exact list of parts and the kit the photo-etch is cut to fit are given in the manufacturer's instructions, so check them before you start building.
In 1:72 scale the photo-etched parts really are tiny, so work with tweezers over a tray with rims, so that a part that bounces away does not get lost in the carpet. Separate them with a sharp blade on a hard surface rather than breaking them out. Make the folds in a bending tool or along a metal ruler, in one pass over the whole length. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue applied in a very small amount, as plastic cement will not bond metal. Degrease the metal before painting and cover it with a base coat.
The aircraft kit, paints, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
