The IAR.80 in 1:72 with the SPACE set from Eduard brings color details into the cockpit of the Romanian fighter from the period of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A Romanian fighter is not a common guest in modeling cabinets, so a properly fitted-out cockpit gives all the more pleasure. The SPACE range builds on color three-dimensional decals, which are inserted into a pilot's station that is already built and take the place of the drawn-out painting of small instruments. You will not find a plastic aircraft in the package; this is purely a finishing accessory.
The IAR.80 came about at the end of the 1930s in a Romanian factory that until then had built foreign types under license. The designers drew on their experience from building a Polish monoplane and added a fuselage of their own with a radial engine. The result was an agile machine which, at the time it appeared, stood comparison with contemporary European rivals. It was committed from 1941 on the Eastern Front and later defended the Romanian oil refineries against raids by heavy bombers, where its performance was no longer a match for modern opponents.
Give the surface where the element goes a gloss coat and let it dry out perfectly. Do not immerse the element in water: moisten only the backing paper beneath it, lift it off with tweezers, fix it with PVA glue and gently press the moisture out from the center. Before you close the cockpit, give the whole thing at least one day of rest, so that no haze appears anywhere.
What exactly is in the set does not follow from the name, so it is not stated here.
