An injection-molded plastic model of the Italian military vehicle Autocannone 3Ro with an ammunition truck in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand IBG models. It is a 2-in-1 package: it contains the parts for building the self-propelled gun as well as the accompanying ammunition truck. The basis of both is the 3Ro heavy truck; on the Autocannone version an anti-aircraft and anti-tank gun is mounted on the bed.
The Lancia 3Ro was an Italian heavy truck widely used by the army (Regio Esercito) during the Second World War. In the Autocannone version it served as an improvised self-propelled mount for a powerful 90 mm gun, which was used against aircraft as well as ground targets. The accompanying ammunition truck saw to the supply of shells. This combination was typical of Italian and German units in North Africa and on the other battlefields of the Mediterranean.
Separate the small parts carefully and glue them with a thin modeling cement for plastic. Finish the frame, the engine and the running gear before seating the bed and the superstructure. Lay down a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush in thin coats; the Italian sand camouflage is brought to life by modulation, a wash and dust pigments. Paint and assemble the gun and its mount according to the instructions.
