A set of photo-etched metal parts for a model of the J-35F/FS Draken fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Draken was a Swedish single-engine supersonic fighter, easily recognizable by its double delta, that is a wing with a markedly cranked leading edge. It was designed so that it could take off even from short stretches of road, which matched the Swedish idea of defense by dispersed forces. Besides the Swedish Air Force it was also used by Denmark, Finland and Austria. The designation J-35F/FS tells apart the versions the set concerns.
The fret carries metal elements made by photochemical etching. Their thickness is counted in tenths of a millimeter, so they manage shapes that would come out too robust in plastic; in 1:72 scale that difference shows the most. Which parts the set holds and where on the model they belong are given in the manufacturer's instructions, because the name alone does not spell the extent out.
Work on a hard surface and cut the parts out of the fret rather than tearing them. Make the fold over a sharp edge and hold the part along its whole length, or it will twist. For gluing use cyanoacrylate in a tiny amount laid on with the tip of a toothpick. Before painting, wash the metal, degrease it and undercoat it with a primer; without one the paint rubs off the edges during assembly already.
The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
