A resin set of accessories for a model of the German Jagdpanther tank destroyer in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Black Dog. It holds stowed equipment and fittings with which the hull and the fenders of the vehicle can be brought to life and given a lived-in, combat-used look. It is not a model of a tank but a diorama accessory that calls for a separately bought Jagdpanther kit in this scale.
The Jagdpanther (Sd.Kfz. 173) was a German tank destroyer of the end of the Second World War, built on the Panther chassis and armed with an 88 mm gun. Stowed crates, tools, tarpaulins and personal gear are among the details that set a replica apart from a build straight out of the box and move it closer to reality.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Stowed equipment comes to life with color transitions, a wash and pigments; in a small scale work with tweezers. Sand resin wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
