A collector's model of the German Jagdpanzer E-100 heavy tank destroyer in 1:72 scale, that is of a machine that remained a wartime proposal.
Responsibility details are not available.
The E-100 designation belonged to the heaviest machine of the German E-series development program from the end of the Second World War. The program was to unify the construction of tracked vehicles into a few weight classes, and the E-100 stood at its upper edge. The tank destroyer version, that is a vehicle with a gun in a fixed superstructure instead of a rotating turret, remained a proposal and never reached series production. That is exactly why it is among the favorite subjects of collectors who gather vehicles that were never built.
A scale rendering of the Jagdpanzer E-100 in 1:72. The model has a rugged silhouette with a low fixed superstructure and a long barrel, so it cannot be mistaken for anything else in a display case. The exact dimensions, the finish and the extent of the delivery are given in the manufacturer's description on the packaging, so follow that.
Stand the model on a flat surface out of the reach of direct sunlight, because harsh light changes the shade of the surface over time. Remove the dust from the tracks, grilles and seams with a soft brush rather than a cloth, which catches on edges. If you carry the model, hold it by the lower part of the hull, never by the barrel. Compared with ordinary tracked vehicles of the same period the difference in weight shows in the silhouette at first glance, so in a display case the model works well as a counterweight to smaller vehicles.
A display case, a stand and other accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
