A finished collector model of the German Jagdpanzer IV tank destroyer in 1:72 scale. It is neither assembled nor painted by you: unpack it and it goes straight into a display case.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Jagdpanzer IV is a German tank destroyer from the Second World War built on the chassis of the Pz.Kpfw. IV tank. A fixed armored superstructure with a sloped front plate replaced the rotating turret, and the gun was mounted on the centerline of the vehicle. The silhouette is therefore considerably lower than that of the tank it comes from, and the vehicle takes cover more easily in open country and in built-up areas. Vehicles of this type served with antitank battalions until the end of the war.
This is a finished model, not a kit. Nothing is glued, assembled or sprayed, so it also suits anyone who does not build models and only wants to fill out a collection. The 1:72 scale is the most widespread size for military equipment, so the model matches vehicles, artillery and figures of the same range in size.
The model shows best in a display case, where it is protected from dust. A few rules will keep it looking good:
Collectors of German equipment will appreciate it, as will diorama builders who need to add a vehicle to a scene with no further work. It also serves as a gift or as a reference when painting a kit of your own. The scope of the delivery is stated on the manufacturer's packaging: unless stated otherwise, it is one finished model without a display case, a base or figures.
