A plastic kit of the aviation fuel tanker of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) in 1:72 scale from Aoshima. The vehicle is based on the chassis of the Type 73 truck and is molded in dark green plastic. The model captures the characteristic tank body intended for refueling aircraft and helicopters.
This tanker serves to carry and dispense aviation fuel with units of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. It is based on the proven chassis of a military truck, from which a whole family of special-purpose versions has been derived, for example a dump truck and decontamination or tanker vehicles.
Assemble and paint the chassis and the drivetrain before finishing the tank body. For a realistic look, washes and pigments for dust and mud effects suit it, together with fine signs of service wear around the dispensing equipment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
