Responsibility details are not available.
This pre-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the German Junkers Ju 88A-4 bomber. It is not a kit and it is not a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks made of thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp paint transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Junkers Ju 88 is a German twin-engine combat aircraft of the Second World War that was used as a bomber, a dive bomber, a night fighter and a reconnaissance machine. The A-4 version was one of the main bomber sub-variants. Its extensively glazed forward cockpit with a great many small frames is one of the most demanding areas to paint, so a ready-made set saves a lot of time here.
Degrease the extensive glazing of the greenhouse canopy thoroughly. Take the masks off the backing and lay them patiently on the individual panels, working systematically frame by frame. Fine-tune the transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint is dry, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
