Eduard 1:72 painting masks Ki-43 I Oscar is a set of self-adhesive kabuki masks for cleanly spraying the canopy frames of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-43 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
These painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard are intended for models of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-43 Oscar fighter in the Ki-43-I form, in 1:72 scale. The precisely die-cut parts of low-tack kabuki tape cover the cockpit glazing, so that spraying leaves straight, sharp frames. Masking is quick and clean with them.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa was the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in the first half of the Second World War. It stood out for its exceptional agility and low weight, but at first it was lightly armed and little armored. The Ki-43-I version was the first production form of the type.
Lift the parts off the sheet, transfer them to the glazing and press them down with a soft tool. Fill in the small frames with strips of tape or liquid mask. Spray the frame color and then the outer shade, and take the masks off while the paint is freshly dry for the sharpest edge.
The masks are an accessory for spraying, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
