A masking set for a model of the Japanese light bomber Ki-48 in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A masking set for building a model of the Japanese twin-engine light bomber Ki-48 in 1:72 scale. The masks are applied to the surfaces that are to stay free of paint and lifted again after spraying; the modeler therefore does not have to cut the shapes laboriously from tape.
The Ki-48 was a twin-engine light bomber of the Japanese Army Air Force, listed at home under the abbreviation Sokei. The Allies used the code designation Lily for it. The machine was fast and handled well, but it carried only a small bomb load and weak defensive armament, which told against it in the second half of the war. In model form it is rewarding precisely for its large glazing, which decides the final impression of the finished model.
For builders of a Ki-48 model in 1:72 scale who want the transitions between the paint and the clear parts sharp. Which kit the shapes are cut for and what exactly the sheet contains is given in the manufacturer's instructions; before buying, therefore, compare the scale and the dimensions with your kit.
The package contains masks only. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
