Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive pre-cut painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is not a model, but an accessory for the build: the masks help you spray the frames of the extensive glazing cleanly and precisely, that is, the cockpit glazing, the gun turrets and the nose, and mask the wheel rims. The film follows the shape of the frames faithfully, so you avoid laborious cutting and uneven edges.
The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War and one of the main aircraft of the RAF night bombing campaign. The B Mk. I and B Mk. III versions differed mainly in where their engines came from and were otherwise almost identical. The Lancaster had a large bomb bay and several defensive gun turrets, which means a considerable amount of glazed area to mask.
Lift the masks off the backing, seat them on the glazing and press them down. Spray the frames with an airbrush, first in the interior shade and then in the exterior color, and peel them off once they are dry. Fill the large areas between the frames with masking fluid or tape. Degrease the glazing before applying, so that the film holds. On a bomber with this many turrets, sort the masks by position beforehand.
This is not a model of the aircraft, but a set of masks. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
