Decals for the Let Z-37A in 1:72 scale from Eduard contain technical stencils, registration letters and labels for a model of the Czech agricultural aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This decal sheet from the Czech maker Eduard is intended for a model of the Z-37A agricultural aircraft in 1:72 scale. Going by its name it brings together three kinds of marking: technical stencils, code and registration letters, and small labels. On machines on the civil register a set like this is particularly useful, because the registration differs from machine to machine and the modeler can put together a particular aircraft. It is not a kit - the sheet is applied to a finished, painted model. The exact number of motifs and schemes is given on the packaging.
The Z-37 Cmelak is a single-engined agricultural aircraft developed in Czechoslovakia at the Let Kunovice works. It is characterized by a robust structure with fixed landing gear, a high-set pilot's cabin and a large hopper for both dry and liquid substances between the engine and the cabin. The machine was used for crop dusting and fertilizing and became one of the most widespread agricultural aircraft of the Eastern Bloc; it also served in civil operation in other countries.
Agricultural machines usually have large areas of a single color, so a thorough gloss coat under the decals pays off - otherwise the edge of the film will show on the smooth paint. Apply the registration letters one at a time and mark the layout out in advance with a pencil or masking tape, so that the row sits on one line and the spacing is even. Use a softener mainly on fabric or corrugated surfaces. Once dry, coat the model according to the sheen you want - most machines in service looked rather semi-gloss.
The package contains decals only. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
