Metallic Details 1:72 Lockheed C-130H Hercules exterior is a photo-etched set for refining the external details of a model of the C-130H transport airplane in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched parts focused on the external details of a model of the Lockheed C-130H Hercules transport airplane in 1:72 scale. On a large machine the exterior is full of small elements that an injection mold handles only in a simplified way, and it is exactly those that decide whether the surface of a model looks flat or alive. Photo-etched sheet is many times thinner than plastic and from close up it shows.
The C-130 Hercules is a four-engined turboprop transport airplane with a high-mounted wing, a rear cargo ramp and landing gear adapted for operating from unprepared surfaces. The C-130H version is one of the most widespread and served for decades in many countries in the transport, airborne and support roles. The type is known for its long service life and for a wide spectrum of derived conversions.
Before working, leave the parts on the tape, so that the small pieces are not lost. Separate them with a scalpel against a hard surface and sand the tabs down after cutting, so that they are not noticeable on the edge. Always make the bend along the marked groove and finish it in a photo-etch bending tool or between two blades. As glue, use cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pin in a really small amount, and on visible areas rather the gel kind, which does not run. Degreased sheet and a thin layer of primer are a condition for the paint and any washes to hold.
This is an add-on set for a plastic model, not a standalone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
