New Ware 1:72 Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird EXPERT kabuki masks are an extended set of masking templates for thorough spraying of the glazing, wheels and other details of a Blackbird model in 1:72 scale. The set is intended for the Italeri kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The most extensive level of the New Ware masking set for models of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird in 1:72 scale. Compared with the BASIC level, EXPERT offers wider coverage: besides the glazing frames and the wheels it also handles further surfaces and details that need to be separated during painting. It is an aid for spraying, not a set of model parts. It is based on the dimensions of the Italeri kit.
The SR-71 Blackbird was an American two-seat strategic reconnaissance aircraft with two engines, capable of sustained flight at over three times the speed of sound at great altitude. It was in service from the 1960s to the end of the 1990s and ranks among the fastest piloted aircraft in history.
For modelers who want the cleanest and most precise painting and are willing to spend more time on masking. Intended for models of the SR-71 Blackbird in the scale stated; the kit and paints are not included.
