A decal sheet (water-slide decals) in 1:72 scale from Print Scale. It imitates the characteristic German five-color diamond camouflage pattern (known as lozenge) of the printed fabric used on First World War aircraft. The sheet covers both upper and lower surfaces and removes the laborious painting of the geometric pattern. It is not a model or a kit; it is a sheet camouflage decal for applying to your own aircraft model.
German aviation in the First World War used printed fabric with a regular diamond pattern in several colors instead of painted camouflage. This so-called lozenge camouflaged the covering of wings and fuselage, and its various color variants (four-color and five-color, different for upper and lower surfaces) are a constant among modelers. The pattern appeared on machines such as Fokker, Albatros and others.
Sheet decals are released in lukewarm water and laid onto the covering of the model; it is best to apply them in sections matching the ribs and bays of the covering. Even the surface out with a gloss coat, use a decal softener to settle them into the detail and finish with a matte coat. The procedure and the layout are given in the enclosed instructions.
