A 1:72 Greek A-7 Corsair II pilot standing, type 2 captures a man in flight gear as it looked with the Greek operator. A figure for a finished model in a small scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This single figure widens the choice of pilots for A-7 series attack aircraft with a variant tied to the Greek operator. The manufacturer lists it as the second type of stance, so it can easily be combined with further poses of the same series to build a small group by a machine without repeating the same silhouette.
The Corsair II was among the longest-serving attack types of its generation. Besides the home US Air Force and US Navy it was also operated by Greece, which flew it from the 1970s and kept it in active service considerably longer than the original operator. It is precisely the long career that makes these machines a rewarding modeling subject, because they went through several waves of camouflage and markings.
After washing, look the casting over against a hard light, because small bubbles are otherwise easy to miss at this size. Fill them with a drop of filler and let it cure thoroughly. Apply the layers of color thinly and do not hurry between them. A contrast of sheen works splendidly on small figures: flat clothing against a glossy helmet gives a figure credibility even without complicated effects.
The package is aimed at one figure; the rest of the scene stays with you.
