Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale captures the American M12 self-propelled gun with the nickname King Kong. The model was released by the Ukrainian brand UM (Unimodels). Besides the plastic parts, the set holds a photo-etched fret and a decal sheet; the exact package contents are not stated here.
The M12 is an American self-propelled gun of the Second World War, which carried a 155 mm gun on a chassis derived from the M3 tank. The weapon married the firepower of heavy artillery with the mobility of a tracked chassis; the vehicles proved themselves above all during the Allied advance in Europe. The nickname King Kong pointed to its sheer bulk.
Give attention to the running gear, the wheels and the tracks and to assembling the gun mount. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend a primer coat, an airbrush and weathering with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects. The open fighting position offers room for accessories and figures.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
