The M3 is a French wheeled armored personnel carrier with drive to all four wheels, produced by the Panhard brand. It arose on the mechanical parts of a light armored car of the same brand, so it shares a large part of its running gear with it, and above that it received a tall box-shaped hull for the infantry it carried. Simplicity and undemanding maintenance secured it a long service life and spread it to a number of armies outside France, where it appeared in desert and tropical finishes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and the parts are plastic. How many finishes the instructions offer and which markings belong to them are given on the box and in the enclosed manufacturer's instructions.
Separate the parts with nippers and sand the place of the cut, so that the remaining material does not prevent the parts from seating. Try the assembly dry first, because in this scale the hull is made up of large surfaces and every gap shows on the edge. Leave the wheels aside and fit them only after the chassis has been sprayed, because you can reach it more easily then. Wash and degrease the model before painting, and over a dark base the edges will then stand out with a dry brush, as will dust applied with thinned paint or with a pigment.
Paints, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
