UM 1:72 M10A1 Tank Destroyer (late version) is a plastic kit of the American tank destroyer on the Sherman chassis from UM (Unimodels).
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker UM (Unimodels) captures the American M10A1 tank destroyer in its late configuration. The set usually holds photo-etched parts and plastic tracks built up by the link-and-length method, and it is richly broken down into small parts.
The M10 was the most widespread American tank destroyer of the Second World War, built on the chassis of the M4 Sherman medium tank. The M10A1 version used a chassis with a gasoline engine. Its characteristic open rotating turret carried a 76 mm anti-tank gun. The late configuration differed from the early vehicles in details of the turret and the fittings.
First assemble the running gear and the inside of the open turret, and only then close up the hull. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and the small photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend spraying the model with an airbrush over a primer; you will build the mud and dust effects with washes and pigments, and the open turret invites detailed work on the interior.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
