An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M1A1 Abrams main battle tank. The set contains parts in gray plastic, flexible tracks and decals; the model is built and painted.
The M1A1 is the upgraded version of the Abrams main battle tank. Compared with the original M1 it was given a 120 mm smoothbore gun and strengthened armor. In large numbers it proved itself in the Persian Gulf and became the backbone of the armored forces of the American army and of a number of allies.
Finish the running gear before the hull is closed up. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, spray a primer coat and apply the shades with an airbrush. Desert and green camouflage schemes alike come into their own with a fine dust wash and pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
