The model captures the characteristic tall silhouette with the main 75 mm gun in a side sponson of the hull and a smaller turret with a 37 mm gun on top. The package holds plastic parts, soft one-piece tracks and assembly instructions.
The M3 Lee was an American medium tank from the start of the Second World War, which came about as a quick solution until the later M4 Sherman matured. For want of a large rotating turret, the powerful 75 mm gun had to be mounted fixed in the side of the hull, which limited the field of fire. A smaller rotating turret carried a 37 mm gun. The Lee tanks and their British Grant variant proved themselves above all in the fighting in North Africa.
Assemble and weather the running gear and the one-piece tracks before fitting them to the hull. An airbrush suits the American olive or desert camouflage; you will complete the wear with edge rubbing, washes and dust pigments on the underside and the running gear of the vehicle.
