M4A2 (76)W Sherman 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the diesel version of the Sherman with a 76 mm gun and wet ammunition stowage from UM.

This kit represents the American M4A2 Sherman medium tank in the version with a 76 mm gun and wet ammunition stowage in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from UM, usually complemented by a small photo-etched fret and a decal sheet. Link-and-length track links and separate running gear parts tend to be part of the set.
The M4A2 was powered by two coupled GM diesel engines. The (76)W designation means the combination of a 76 mm gun of higher muzzle velocity with so-called wet ammunition stowage, in which the ammunition bins are surrounded by liquid to reduce the risk of fire after a hit. A large share of the diesel Shermans went to foreign allies.
Finish the running gear and the tracks first, then close the hull. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, treat the surface with a primer and spray with an airbrush. The longer barrel of the 76 mm gun is a typical identifying mark; you will tune the weathering with washes in the recesses and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
