A set of photo-etched parts for a model of the McDonnell F-4C Phantom aircraft in 1:72 scale. An accessory for a finished kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The McDonnell F-4C Phantom is an American two-seat, twin-engine jet fighter, one of the most widespread combat designs of the second half of the twentieth century. The F-4C version served with the US Air Force and carried air-to-air weapons as well as bombs. Thanks to its long service and its many paint schemes the Phantom is among the subjects modelers come back to again and again.
Photo-etched parts for an F-4C model in 1:72 scale. Photo-etch is made by etching the shape out of thin sheet, so the parts are noticeably more delicate than their plastic counterparts and suit anywhere the material should look thin. Which elements the set contains and exactly where they belong is shown in the manufacturer's instructions; from them you will also see which parts of the kit have to be modified before fitting.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not with nippers, otherwise the edge will bend. Make the bends along the marked grooves, ideally in a bending tool or between two straight edges. They are bonded with super glue applied in a really small amount. Degrease the metal parts before painting and use a primer, because without it the paint holds poorly on smooth metal.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
