Eduard 1:72 Messerschmitt Bf-110E is a photo-etched detail set for sharpening up a model of this Luftwaffe heavy fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of photo-etched parts, not a kit. It contains thin, precisely etched metal parts meant to replace or add to the detail of a plastic Bf-110E model in 1:72 scale. The set is made by the Czech company Eduard.
Photo-etched parts of this kind usually add fine elements of the cockpit, instrument detail and cockpit sidewalls, seat belts and small external fittings that cannot be molded in injected plastic at a matching thickness. The model thereby becomes more faithful and more three-dimensional. The Bf-110E was a twin-engine heavy fighter and fighter-bomber deployed in the first half of the Second World War.
Cut the parts off the fret with a sharp knife on a cutting mat and make the bends over a metal ruler or in a photo-etch bender. They are best glued with cyanoacrylate glue or a small amount of epoxy; degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer.
The photo-etched set is only an accessory. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
