Model of the German twin-engine heavy fighter Messerschmitt Me 410A-1 Hornisse in 1:72 scale. A kit to be glued and painted.
The Me 410 Hornisse was a German twin-engine heavy fighter and fast bomber of the Second World War, reworked from the troublesome Me 210. It was powered by inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 603A engines; its characteristic feature were the remotely controlled side barbettes with MG 131 machine guns. The A-1 version was the fast bomber variant, used among other places over Britain.
Build the model in subassemblies and test the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and bring them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a quality liquid polystyrene cement, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals onto a gloss varnish and seal them with a flat one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
