1:72 MiG-17F canopy mask covers the glass of the canopy of the Soviet fighter so that the narrow cockpit frames stand out.
Responsibility details are not available.
The bubble canopy with a short windscreen has narrow framing that is outlined badly with a brush. The set takes this task over and suits models in 1:72 scale.
The MiG-17 came about by reworking the older type: it received a thinner wing with a greater angle of sweep and a longer fuselage, which rid it of a tendency to unpleasant behavior near the speed of sound. The letter F in the designation means an engine with an afterburner, which added markedly to the machine's rate of climb. In the code of the North Atlantic Alliance it carried the name Fresco. It flew with dozens of armed forces from Europe through the Middle East to the Far East, and over Vietnam it turned out that an agile subsonic aircraft with gun armament can be a very unpleasant opponent for modern fighter-bombers. License-built forms from Poland and China carried their own designations, Lim and J-5.
The inside of the frames on this type tends to be markedly lighter than the outside, so spray the interior shade first. After taking the masks off, go over the transition between the finish and the glass with a pointed toothpick, which removes any bleed. Good lighting of your working place will save you a lot of corrections here.
The package is made up of the masks alone; the plastic is obtained separately.
