Peewit - die-cut painting masks for the MiG-23ML, 1:72 scale are a self-adhesive masking set for plastic models, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely die-cut self-adhesive masking set from Peewit for plastic models of the Soviet MiG-23ML fighter in 1:72 scale. It is neither a model nor a kit but a painting accessory bought separately. The masks are cut to the shape of the canopy glazing and other areas of the model, so that you can spray the frames with sharp edges and the laborious cutting of masking tape falls away. The material adapts to the curvature of the canopy and leaves no adhesive on the part when removed.
The MiG-23 was a Soviet single-seat fighter with a variable-geometry wing, which the pilot swept between a small and a large angle as needed. The MiG-23ML version was the lightened and improved variant of the 1970s, with better agility, a more powerful engine and a new radar. Under the NATO reporting name the type was known as Flogger. It was one of the most widespread combat aircraft of the Soviet Air Force and its allies in the Cold War.
Degrease the glazing before masking. Move the masks with tweezers, lay them into the frames and press the edges down with a toothpick so that the paint cannot seep under them. Spray the shade of the frame first, then the primer and the camouflage, and take the masks off while the paint is still fresh.
This is a masking set, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
