A metal and photo-etched accessory aimed at the wheel wells. In 1:72 scale the wells on kits tend to be dealt with by no more than a shallow cavity with suggested relief. Photo-etched walls, bracing and plumbing add a depth that cannot be achieved with a plastic molding. The set is not a model of the aircraft and is fitted into a kit of your own.
The MiG-25 is a Soviet high-speed twin-engine aircraft used as an interceptor and as a reconnaissance machine. The airframe was built for the thermal loads of high speeds, which was reflected in its structure and materials too. The wheel wells on this type are fairly roomy and on a model they are easily seen into from below.
First verify dry whether the fuselage halves still close once the new walls are in place, and thin the plastic from the inside if need be. Paint and weather the wells separately while they are accessible, and only then close the model up. A dark wash and suggestions of traces of service suit the corners well, but in moderation, so that the fine relief of the photo-etch is not lost. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a primer.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
