A set of accurately shaped self-adhesive masks for 1:72 models of the Soviet MiG-29 fighter. These are single-sided Express masks cut from quality masking film (of the kabuki type) that cover the outer surfaces of the cockpit glazing and the landing gear wheels. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for easy masking; the individual parts are marked with numbers for quick, accurate application. The mask is cut for the ICM kit.
The MiG-29 is a Soviet twin-engine supersonic fourth-generation fighter developed as a frontline air superiority aircraft. It stands out for excellent agility, massive air intakes and a wide lifting fuselage. Since the 1980s it has served with dozens of countries and has become one of the most widespread fighters of its era.
Degrease the glazing and apply the masks exactly along the engraved frames. The Express version speeds up the masking of the complex cockpit. Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not seep under the edge of the mask. Lift the masks while the paint has only just set. The wheel masks give a crisp transition between hub and tire.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
