The Model Maker 1:72 MiG-29UB decal set brings markings for a model of the two-seat trainer version of the MiG-29 in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a sheet of markings in 1:72 scale, not a kit. The name gives only the type and the scale, so it is a decal sheet for aircraft models. The subject is the MiG-29UB, the two-seat trainer version of the Fulcrum with a lengthened canopy.
Why buy decals separately
The decals enclosed with older kits tend to be thick, to have a wide rim of carrier film and to yellow over time. A separate sheet is thinner, follows the surface better and offers markings you will not find in the box. On the two-seat version that goes double, because the layout of the legends around both cockpits differs.
First spray the model, let the paint mature and seal it with a gloss varnish. Cut the decal off, dip it in lukewarm water and wait until the film releases from the backing paper. Place it on a wet surface, slide it gently into position and blot the surplus water off. Once it is dry, apply the softener gradually in thin layers; the decal wrinkles and, once dry, draws down to the surface. Do not move a dried layer, or the film will tear.
It is an accessory for a model. The kit, the paints and the chemicals are not included in the package.
