The Eduard Mirage F.1 interior photo-etched set 1:72 is a detail set of photo-etched parts for sharpening the cockpit of a plastic model of the French Dassault Mirage F.1 fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for advanced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard photo-etched detail set in 1:72 scale serves to sharpen the interior of a plastic model of the French Dassault Mirage F.1 fighter. It is not a kit or a model of an aircraft in its own right, but a set of fine photo-etched parts in thin metal sheet that replace the simplified plastic parts and give the cockpit realistic detail. Working with photo-etched parts takes experience, so the set is aimed at advanced modelers.
The Dassault Mirage F.1 is a French single-engine fighter and multi-role aircraft. Unlike the delta Mirages it received a conventional swept wing with tail surfaces, which improved its qualities in takeoff, landing and maneuvering combat. It entered service with the French Air Force in the mid-1970s as the main interceptor, and in export versions it served in a number of other countries.
Carefully separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not by twisting. Shape the bends with a bender or tweezers along the marked scores. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate); ordinary plastic cement does not hold on metal. Color-printed parts such as instrument panels are not varnished, while bare metal surfaces are painted to match the real cockpit.
The package holds only the photo-etched parts. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
