The Peewit 1:72 Mitsubishi A5M2b Claude is a set of masking templates for building a model of the Japanese carrier-based fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of masking templates, masks, from Peewit for a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A5M2b Claude carrier-based fighter in 1:72 scale. It is NOT a kit or a model of the aircraft but an accessory that makes accurate spraying of the frames of the canopy, and as a rule of other areas as well, easier. The masks are cut from a masking film and they are laid directly onto the parts of the model.
The real subject is the Mitsubishi A5M, one of the first all-metal carrier-based fighters of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service, with fixed landing gear and the Allied code name Claude. The masks make a sharp and clean separation of the clear areas from the camouflage possible, without the slow business of laying down strips. The set is intended for a matching model of the A5M2b in the same scale.
Degrease the parts first and rid them of dust. Transfer the masks carefully, press them against the frames and smooth the edges down, so that the paint does not run under. Spray thin coats and remove the masks while the paint is still fresh. For the best result, lay the interior color of the frame under the masks first.
This is a masking accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
